The focusing system is primarily used to determine the laser processing focal plane. And it mainly consists of a motion motor, positioning red-light modules, and a control board.
Focusing is achieved by adjusting the height of the entire optical-path assembly, thereby changing the focal distance.
Typical workflow:
The user identifies the workpiece to be processed.
The control system drives the motion motor to adjust the height of the optical-path assembly.
The focal plane is confirmed when the positioning red beams on both sides overlap, indicating the correct processing focus position.
| Item | Focused | Defocused |
|---|---|---|
| Surface topography | Noticeable recess; distinct tactile depth | Largely flat |
| Color | Natural material color (bright silver-white on metals; native color on non-metals) | Variable colors possible |
| Material condition | Material is removed (vaporization or ablation) | Material largely preserved (surface undergoes chemical/physical changes) |
| Wear resistance | Very high | Lower (surface can be scratched off) |
| Process residues | Produces smoke/fume and fine particles | Almost no machining debris |
| Heat-affected zone | Localized instantaneous high temperature, may cause deformation | Larger heated area; overall heat input can be controlled |
The laser module includes two selectable light sources—fiber and diode—allowing users to choose an appropriate laser source based on the application scenario to meet specific needs.
Supports engraving on 300+ metal and non-metal materials, as well as cutting applications on selected materials.
The galvo system is the core module that enables high-speed, high-precision laser beam deflection. It mainly consists of the galvo motors, reflective mirrors, a control card, and a bracket.
An electric current drives the mirrors to deflect rapidly and accurately, thereby controlling the position of the laser beam on the processing plane.
